Since its inception, the EUDAT project has been working with various European research communities to identify the types of services that researchers commonly need for handling research data and then developing the most relevant of those services. EUDAT is currently offering a range of services through its CDI nodes, and is also in the process of developing further useful services.

The aim of this deliverable is to lay out the ground for future work in WP8 by providing a clear list of additional services that should be developed as well as an initial list of high-level requirements. In this document, we are presenting general DLC descriptions for core EUDAT communities and for individual researcher and citizen scientists. These DLC descriptions have been derived from community specific user scenarios and were aligned using an agreed upon list of key activities involved in DLCs.
From 22 to 25 January 2018, EUDAT will hold a Conference in Porto (Portugal), to discuss about the practical steps for the EOSC. Below a full list of all posters and demos that will be shown during the Conference:
EUDAT, through its Sensitive Data Working Group in the Research Data Alliance (RDA), will be leading a working meeting at the RDA11 Plenary titled, "Sensitive Data for Open Science".

This document describes value of data in the modern empirical science and the role trust relationships play in using, managing and preserving the data in the environment of a collaborative data infrastructure such as EUDAT. It also analyses properties of digital objects relevant for these tasks and gives a brief overview of established trust assessment frameworks.
Data objects are stored in iRODS on storage resources. A storage resources can be a directory in file system, tape system or a network resource (e.g., Amazon S3 or FTP). Standard iRODS installation create a default resource (so called Vault), but it is possible to add further resources for instance to account for increasing user requirements.
