EUDAT Conference 2024

3-5 December 2024 | Karlsruhe, Germany

Description | Programme | Open Calls | Partnership

The end of 2024 brings us the next edition of the EUDAT Conference from amidst the historical surroundings of Athens to the jovial seasonal Christmas markets in Karlsruhe.

From 3-5 December 2024, the EUDAT Conference will be held at the ZKM Karlsruhe (Center for Art and Media). The EUDAT Conference is EUDAT’s flagship event which provides a forum for the latest developments in research data management and enabling tools and solutions.

As part of its regular programme, the first day will be dedicated to sessions that showcase RDM solutions that address the research data lifecycle. A poster parade and exhibition will bring you face-to-face with some of the innovators in the field and allow networking opportunities. As a new aspect of this year’s conference, there will be a call for demonstrations where a select few will be able to demonstrate their solutions to the conference audience.

The second and third day of the conference will then be dedicated towards providing a holistic view of the fast-changing landscape. Topics such as EOSC, the Data Spaces, the connection with HPC and handling sensitive data will be tackled in dedicated sessions that provide a view of developments on a European level. At the same time a session will also be dedicated to looking at individual national experiences and best practices providing various perspectives from the EUDAT members. This EUDAT Conference also aims to showcase more outside perspectives with calls for sessions.
