The EUDAT Conference is the flagship biennial event organised by EUDAT. It serves as a premier European forum for researchers, data managers, and IT service providers to discuss the latest advancements in Research Data Management (RDM) and Open Science.
The EUDAT Conference 2026 is being held under the theme "Sustaining the next decade of Europe's research data ecosystem" with the support of IT4I. The event will not only celebrate 10 years of successful operation of EUDAT, but it will also be marked with the signing of the next decade-long commitment of EUDAT's members to support the next collaborative data infrastructure.
Sessions will be held on relevant topics in research data management such as AI compliance, AI-enhanced data management, use cases and user-centric solutions, RDM solutions, the use of EUDAT services in research community data workflows, integration of EUDAT with other services, trust, security and sensitive data in RDM. Keynotes and panels will also showcase EUDAT's latest service developments, contributions to the EOSC Federation and collaborations with the e-Infrastructure Assembly.
As part of the programme, the event will feature an exhibition of posters, organisations and initiatives relevant to Europe's research data ecosystem.
The event will bring together diverse range of participants including:
- Researchers and citizen scientists, repository and community managers to discover services for research data management, storage, preservation and sharing.
- Actors in the EOSC community, ESFRI, science clusters, and research infrastructures to get the latest on the state of the art and use cases of some of the core services for supporting European research.
- Projects, research institutions and national and European initiatives to gain visibility and network with stakeholders to further their activities.
