On 13-15 September, EUDAT CDI will organise its EUDAT Conference 2022 in Athens, Greece with 14-15 September as the public conference days while 13 September will be a closed side-event.

The Digital Curation Centre and Data Management Planning: Our Role in the EUDAT Initiative

In EUDAT, DCC will be customising the DMPonline tool for data management planning to profile the support available via the initiative. Details of existing services, such as the B2SHARE repository and B2DROP for secure data exchange, will be added to the tool to raise awareness amongst researchers when they are responding to funder requirements.

CLARIN is seeking a Director for User Involvement

The CLARIN European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CLARIN ERIC) has an opening for the part-time position of Director for User Involvement. Why is FAIR Data important?

As our world has continually become more digitalised, we have begun facing new challenges for a digitalised world. One of these challenges, which has gained attention over the last 6 years, is how to handle data. The ‘FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship’ were published in Scientific Data in 2016, laying out a set of principles to make sure that the large amounts of data being created every year can be found and reused by the right people to bring continual benefits to society.
