EUDAT Unveils New Service Catalogue

At The EUDAT Conference 2022 (14-15 September 2022), EUDAT unveiled its new and improved service catalogue developed by GRNET and Trust-IT. Since 2021, EUDAT has made its service catalogue interoperable with the EOSC Portal. Now, the EUDAT Catalogue is more user friendly and has been enriched with supporting multimedia and information fit for both technical and non-technical users.

Join the RDA 6th Plenary Climate Change Data Challenge!

The Sixth Plenary RDA Meeting to be hosted in Paris from 23-25 September 2015, will feature a special focus on research data for climate change, leveraging on the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) to be held in Paris in December 2015. As a part of this special focus Cap Digital & RDA have created a special Challenge designed to connect Climate Change related Data Sets with startups, SMEs and larger organizations with practical application for these data.

The European Open Science Cloud for Research

Today, EUDAT together with four other leading European initiatives, LIBER, OpenAIRE, GÉANT and EGI share their joint vision for the European Open Science Cloud for Research. This vision includes eight elements of success for a concrete contribution to the Digital Single Market. This month also marked the end of the first successful EUDAT Call for Data Pilots with 24 applications from a broad range of European research infrastructures, communities and organizations. These pilots are from disciplines as diverse as earth and environmental sciences, biomedical and life sciences, social sciences and humanities, physical sciences and engineering. ENES, from the climate change domain, and VPH covering medical and clinical research tell us why EUDAT is fundamental for their work. Want to know more about EUDAT? This presentation provides an overview of the B2FIND Integration and Usage. B2FIND is the metadata and discovery service of EUDAT. It is based on a comprehensive joint metadata catalogue of research data collections stored in EUDAT data centres and other repositories and provides a powerful and user-friendly discovery service on metadata covering a wide range of research communities.
