EUDAT Summer School 2023 was hosted between 26 and 30 of June 2023 in Kajaani, Finland. This edition strengthened the skills required to excel in data management, getting the participants geared up to manage and process data throughout the full, research-data lifecycle.

The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is a global forum that is helping to build social and technical bridges to make it possible to share research data

European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Launched!

Following a major effort by the European Commission, the Member States, EUDAT, and the scientific community, the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) was launched on 23 November to provide a safe environment for researchers to store, analyse and re-use data for research, innovation and educational purposes.

EUDAT Service Road Map

EUDAT’s mission is to design, develop, implement and offer “Common Data Services” as they have been introduced in the “Riding the Wave report [1]” to all interested researchers and research communities. According to this report these services will be offered through the Collaborative Data Infrastructure (CDI) which is being identified by many data different initiatives at community, research organisation and cross-border level (disciplines and countries).
