EUDAT Conference 2024

3-5 December 2024 | Karlsruhe, Germany

Description | Programme | Venue | Open Calls | Partnership | Hotel List

Semantic artefacts are key components to build a semantic interoperability framework and to support the implementation of the FAIR Principles. These artefacts leverage specific standards and technologies and require dedicated services that should be integrated with the research data management tool chain. In addition, semantic artefacts should be FAIR themselves.

The objective of this session is dual. First, it aims at presenting community initiatives around semantic artefacts and at introducing some of the existing recommendations, guidelines and services developed in the context of different EOSC related projects as well as initiatives coming from communities. Secondly, we aim to discuss which generic services around semantics could be proposed by a pan-European infrastructure such as EUDAT which would support Research communities and Infrastructure to embed semantics in their data management systems.

Session Organiser : Yann Le Franc

Presenters :

Maria Poveda, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid

Clement Jonquet, INRAE

Naouel Karam, Institute for Applied Informatics, Leipzig University

Rumana Quazi, CSC

In case you have missed the session, we have the presentations available for deeper insight into the semantic artefacts!
