In the session "FAIR data, ethics and AI" researchers present experiences and ideas from their daily research applying and training artificial intelligence models. Collection and use of data for AI models, not only in the medical domain, raises ethical considerations and has implications for the technical data handling workflows and the application of FAIR principles. Examples from different domains will show the audience how AI research implements FAIRness and how this research can effectively use generalised data infrastructures such as the EUDAT CDI and the future EOSC federation.
