These are few of the questions that the over 230 participants of the EUDAT’s Conference “Putting the EOSC vision into practice” strived to answer at the 3-day meeting held in Porto. Attendees included policy makers, service providers and research communities representatives from 25 countries working on various data challenges and disciplines.
The last six months of the EInfraCentral project were spent on further developing a common Service Catalogue for Open Science Cloud services, with strong input from EUDAT, EGI, GEANT, PRACE, OpenAIRE and e-IRG. Check out the second newsletter to catch up with the latest developments!
The EC-funded project EOSC-hub project started on January 1st 2018, bringing together an extensive group of national and international service providers to create the Hub: a central contact point for European researchers and innovators to discover, access, use and reuse a broad spectrum of resources for advanced data-driven research.
If you wish you had a discovery tool to browse research data collections from EUDAT data centres and many other repositories around Europe, now it's your chance to do so: check out the EUDAT B2FIND Service, a free tool for research communities to find the data they need.
The upcoming EUDAT Conference will take place in a week and will try to shed light and answer the question "How to put the EOSC into practice?". Meet the EUDAT team, our communities and related initiatives and organisations in Porto (Portugal), from 22nd to 25th January 2018!
