On 30th June, EUDAT will be present at LIBER Annual Conference -hosted by the National Library of Finland, Helsinki University Library and the Finnish Research Library Association-, one of the most relevant gatherings for research library professionals. During the event, Hege van Dijke from LIBER will highlight the benefits and the exploitability of this impressive project, as well as explaining why EUDAT’s services are essential to support the complete Research Data Management Lifecycle and how data managers and librarians across Europe are particularly important to the project.

EUDAT for Libraries EUDAT has developed a suite of research data management services to support data managers and librarians in their daily work and with their ever-increasing data management challenges. Libraries can join the data infrastructure to archive, replicate, process and catalogue data on behalf of their users. While researchers, citizen scientists and policy makers share, discover and re-use data via EUDAT.

LIBER is a representative of European research libraries within EUDAT and is leading the work for a task involving policy and planning for data access, and contributes to the investigation of environments and requirements from the library domain.
