Description and Scope
Are you a researcher, citizen scientist, institution or community looking for data storage and value-added services? Do you want access to tools to make your research data more FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable)? Interested in seeing how the future European Open Science Cloud could support research data and practically foster cross-border, cross-disciplinary collaboration? Then this webinar is for you!
This webinar is jointly-organised by the EUDAT Collaborative Data Infrastructure (EUDAT CDI), one of the largest infrastructures of integrated data services for research sustained by almost 30 research organisations, and data and computing centres, and the Digital Infrastructure Capacity for EOSC project (DICE), an EU-funded initiative that enables a European storage and data management infrastructure for EOSC that provides generic services and building blocks to store, find, access and process data in a consistent and persistent way. DICE is providing these services free of charge to European researchers for the whole project duration.
Learn about what these services offer and how you can take advantage of them for your own research!
Who should attend
The webinar is open to all, but the following are highly encouraged to attend, particularly those interested in making their research activities more FAIR:
- Researchers, both attached to institutions and independent citizen scientists
- Repository managers in academic or research institutions
- Research community managers
- Actors in the EOSC community that are interested in the practicalities of handling and producing research data
