Training at the 1st EUDAT Conference- Big Data and Making the Most of EUDAT’s technologies (Agenda and Presentations)

Throughout the first day of the EUDAT Conference, we run two parallel training tracks.
The first track was a detailed technical track targeted at those people with a responsibility for running, setting up and configuring data infrastructure within their communities that could interact with EUDAT infrastructure and services. The topics for this track were centred around Policy-Rule based Data Management (focused on iRODS) and the use of handles (e.g. EPIC. DataCite) for Persistent Identification.
The second track was a more general track targeted at all researchers. In this track we covered a range of subjects related to big data, integration of data from distributed sources, and data management. We will be aiming to demonstrate to you the advantages that you could gain from using EUDAT services.
