Open Science Conference 2025
The Open Science Conference is an annual international conference dedicated to the Open Science movement. It provides a unique forum for researchers, data stewards, librarians, practitioners, infrastructure providers, policy makers, and other important stakeholders to discuss the latest and future developments in Open Science. In 2025, the conference returns to its roots and takes place as a face-to-face event in Hamburg again. The conference will take place between October 8th to October 9th, 2025.
Data Sharing Festival 2025
This Festival celebrates the intersection of privacy, cybersecurity, and sovereignty in the data world. It aims to recognize achievements, tackle challenges, and shape the future of data spaces with a mix of inspiring keynotes, panels, and many interactive sessions. The Data Sharing Festival will have a dynamic program that focuses on practical solutions and collaboration to scale up market adoption and synergise individual approaches.

Launch of EOSC-ENTRUST - driving European interoperability for sensitive data access and analysis
The EU-funded EOSC-ENTRUST project launches today, 1 March 2024, with the aim of enhancing European interoperability for sensitive data access and analysis. Led by ELIXIR and the EUDAT Collaborative Data Infrastructure (CDI), the project brings together partners from 15 European countries and will run for three years, with an EU contribution of €4.2M.
