Building a Trainers Community of Practice (CoP)
Let's meet at: 15:30 - 17:00, Room: Sagres | 24 Jan 2018
Session Chair: Shaun de Witt, Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE)

Objectives:

To find out benefits and drawbacks of a Community of Practice for EOSC trainers.
  • Define a CoP for Training and Outreach
  • How can existing experiences be utilised in future projects?
  • What could be part of the CoP’s goals? For instance, EOSCpilot deliverable 7.1 on the skills landscape suggests that dynamic and/of local information is more likely to be sustainable through a trainers’ network or community of practice than through centralized administration.
