The Turkish National Center for High Performance Computing (UHeM) was founded in 2004 with the support of DPT [Devlet Planlama Te5kilati (Prime Ministry State Planning Organization)] and started to provide services in 2007. The main goal of UHeM is to build awareness regarding computational sciences and engineering in Turkey, and to make ready a computational infrastructure for scientific research and R&D services. The main communities that UHeM provides services are scientific researchers that are in the universities and public sector's research departments; R&D departments of industrial companies that need computational resources for their services; and the projects of international research and application. As a partner of PRACE, UHeM serves to the European research community as well. For more information on UHeM visit : http://www.uybhm.itu.edu.tr/ |
