There are still so many new things to share before the year is over! The EUDAT CDI Council appoints Per Öster (Director of Research Infrastructures at CSC - IT Center for Science) as Project Director of the EOSC-hub project, CLARIN ERIC officially becomes a EUDAT CDI thematic provider, all EUDAT presentations given at the recent DI4R 2017 event are available and the countdown to the next EUDAT Conference "Putting the EOSC vision into practice" has started!
Per Öster will lead the EOSC-hub project as Project Director
The EUDAT Collaborative Data Infrastructure (CDI) has appointed Per Öster as Project Director of the EOSC-Hub project. This agreement was made during the EUDAT CDI Council which was hosted by the IN2P3 Computing Centre, in Lyon, France, on 21 November 2017.
CLARIN ERIC is officially a EUDAT CDI thematic provider
On 21 November 2017, CLARIN ERIC signed the EUDAT CDI Agreement
and officially joined the EUDAT CDI as a thematic provider. The new role of CLARIN is a natural continuation of their past involvement and their contribution will help the CDI to evolve as a successful collaborative platform that is interesting to both service providers and community organisations.
From 22nd to 25th of January 2018, the city of Porto (Portugal) will host the next EUDAT Conference entitled "Putting the EOSC vision into practice". The programme is almost complete and the full list of posters & demos has just been released.
More than just a conference: there are plenty of co-located events too!
With over 10 different co-located events, the EUDAT Conference in Porto will surely offer plenty of opportunities to participants to learn about semantics, array databases, sensitive data and much more.
