This deliverable covers the progress of the construction and integration of the Generic Execution Framework (GEF), as well as additional required tools and components. The GEF is a mechanism designed for the enactment of scientific workflows on massive amounts of data in an environment where the data is readily accessible. This document describes the design and current state of the GEF platform and how existing EUDAT user technologies have been incorporated in its design.
