D6.3: 2nd Year Report on Status and Progress of Operations

WP6 “Operations” makes the Collaborative Data Infrastructure available for scientists and researchers by integrating and reliably operating services on top of distributed resources which are provided in a coordinated way. This 2nd year report on the status and progress of operations presents an update of the 1st year report (D6.2). In the 2nd project year, progress was made with the rollout of the core services Safe Replication (B2SAFE) and Data Staging (B2STAGE). The rollout of the Simple Store Service (B2SHARE) started according to a roadmap. The User- and Community Helpdesk, the User Documentation, IT security and Quality Assurance as well as Service Monitoring have progressed well.
