CDI services: building blocks and the way forward

Objectives:

• Present an overview of the EUDAT CDI and how CDI B2 services are tight together
• Give insight of the current status and future roadmap of the EUDAT CDI B2 services
• Pinpoint how the CDI Services will fit pragmatically in the EOSC landscape.

More on the session:

Beyond the project lifetime the activities of EUDAT will continue within the EUDAT CDI Partnership Agreement which guarantees the delivery of EUDAT services going forward. The evolution and future developments of the B2 services will be maintained within the context of a set of initiatives such as EOSC-hub, SeaDataCloud, etc. This session will provide an overview of the EUDAT B2 service suite as well as insights into the future development roadmap. Additionally it will address the EUDAT CDI architecture and how the B2 services are tight together and fit the EOSC landscape consolidating the role of the EUDAT services as building blocks for research data management covering the full research data lifecycle. In detail, the session is focused on the following B2 services: B2SAFE, B2SHARE, B2FIND, B2ACCESS, B2DROP, B2HANDLE.
