Rob Carrillo

Rob Carrillo is a Senior Project Manager leading teams in implementing marketing and communication strategies to support government and non-profit initiatives. Currently, he designs and executes communications strategies for EU-funded, transnational, high-tech, multi-million euro initiatives that contribute to the realisation of the European Commission's policy priorities related to the European Open Science Cloud and Destination Earth. He started his career in journalism in the Middle East eventually leading the business section of a national paper while also fulfilling the role of Al-Qudaibiya Palace correspondent covering the Bahraini Prime Minister and his Cabinet. Rob has a Master in Business Administration from the University of Pisa and graduated with Magna cum Laude honours in Business Informatics from AMA International University.
