The last two months have been pivotal for EUDAT as it has successfully set up EUDAT Ltd, a new company that will ensure EUDAT's sustainability. In addition, the EUDAT conference “Putting the EOSC vision into practice” took place in Porto gathering over 230 relevant stakeholders together. Aside from this a new video explaining the added-value in using B2FIND has been published as well as an article describing the new branded features added to B2SAFE. The first EOSC-hub Week has also been recently announced, and the EUDAT CDI is one of the key sponsors and contributors. Read more below!

There are still so many new things to share before the year is over! The EUDAT CDI Council appoints Per Öster (Director of Research Infrastructures at CSC - IT Center for Science) as Project Director of the EOSC-hub project, CLARIN ERIC officially becomes a EUDAT CDI thematic provider, all EUDAT presentations given at the recent DI4R 2017 event are available and the countdown to the next EUDAT Conference "Putting the EOSC vision into practice" has started!
On 22-25 January 2018, data managers, scientists & research communities, policy-makers, e-Infrastructure initiatives, research infrastructures and ESFRI projects from all over Europe will gather in Porto (Portugal) to attend the next EUDAT Conference entitled "Putting the EOSC vision into practice".
With one month left to go, Brussels is getting ready to host the second edition of the Digital Infrastructures for Research event (30 November-1 December 2017)!
The full conference programme has now been released and it counts over 20 sessions, 2 plenaries, and of course plenty of opportunities to network and enjoy Brussels.
The countdown to the Digital Infrastructures for Research has officially started and you only have 5 days left to submit your abstract!

Join the EUDAT conference 2018: after the success of the previous EUDAT conference in Amsterdam which brought together more than 300 participants, we are ready to kick-off 2018 with the EUDAT conference "Putting the EOSC vision into practice". The conference takes place in the stunning location of Porto, Portugal from the 23rd to the 25th of January 2018.
DI4R 2017 is taking place on 30th November and 1st December 2017 in the heart of the European Union: Brussels, Belgium. The organisers (EUDAT, EGI, GÉANT, OpenAIRE, RDA Europe and PRACE) invite all interested contributors to submit their abstracts by 13th October 2017 choosing among 6 different topics: Interoperability, Data Science & Skills, Impact evaluation and metrics, Security, trust and identity, The EOSC & EDI building blocks and Business models, sustainability and policies.
We would like to dedicate this special edition of our newsletter to the results of the EUDAT Summer School organised by the EUDAT Training Team, from 3 to 7 July, in Crete.
