International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility
The International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF), a global network of 17 countries spanning 4 continents, aims to develop, evaluate, and endorse standards and best practices that embrace the principles of Open, FAIR, and Citable neuroscience. INCF also provides training on how standards and best practices facilitate reproducibility and enables the publishing of the entirety of research output, including data and code.
To achieve its aims, the INCF network maintains several community resources:
- INCF standards and best practices portal provides the neuroscience community with information on the application and use of standards and best practices
- INCF TrainingSpace hub that makes general neuroscience, neuroinformatics, and computational neuroscience educational materials more accessible to the global neuroscience community
- Neurostars A question and answer forum for general neuroscience, neuroinformatics, and computational neuroscience
- KnowledgeSpace community-based, data-driven encyclopedia for neuroscience that links brain research concepts to data, models, and the literature that support them.
