The Research Data Alliance and Global Data and Computing e-Infrastructure Challenges event is being organized within the framework of the Italian Presidency of the European Union, and will take place in Rome, Italy on 11 and 12 December 2014.
At this strategic event, a set of recommendations will be presented to the new European Commissioners for Digital Agenda and Innovation Union. These recommendations will relate to global cooperation, persistence and sustainability and growth opportunities from data e-infrastructures for adoption in future work programmes for Europe. They will be supported by the presentation of a new report for European policy makers entitled The Data Harvest: how sharing research data can yield knowledge, jobs and growth.
EUDAT will be present at the event.
